Most of the territory of
Austria, two
thirds of the total, is within the Eastern section of the Alps, that
reach heights of more than 3000 ms. The population concentrates in

border with
Germany, happening through Linz and
Vienna, until

Austria is landlocked. It borders the Czech Republic and Germany to the north, Slovakia and Hungary to the east, Slovenia and Italy to the south, and Switzerland and Liechtenstein to the west. The territory of Austria is 83,871 km2 and has an alpine climate prevails.
