political and culturally it is considered like part of

The Republic of Cyprus is
divides in six administrative districts: Nicosia, Famagusta, Limassol, Pafos,
Lįrnaca and Kyrenia. Each district is governed by a representative of the
central government. The districts of Famagusta, Kyrenia and part of the one of
Nicosia are nailed within the self-proclaimed
Turkish Republic of the North of
Cyprus (in Turk: Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti) As well, the territories
of the bases of sovereignty of Acrotiri, in the south of the island, and of
Dhekelia, towards the east, are under the command of an administrator designated
by the United Kingdom. In these territories military bases of the
United Kingdom
exist.

Nicosia is the biggest city of the island of Cyprus and the capital as much of the Republic of Cyprus like of the Turkish Republic of the North of Cyprus. Located in the valley of Mesaoria.
It is the place where it is governed and the greater commercial center. Nicosia is the center and the capital of the district of Nicosia, and after the fall of the wall of Berlin, it is the unique capital city of the world divided by a wall, with the North parts (Turkish) and the south (Greek), separated by the Green Line, a demilitarized zone maintained by the United Nations. But unlike the Cold War between the East and the West of Berlin, few use the term " Nicosia north" and " Nicosia south".
