Euro coinThe economy of Europe is greatest of the world. Many of their states belong to the first world. In century XIX the first modern integration of the economy of several European states through the Customs Union of Germany is realised. Germany is economically the most powerful nation of Europe, followed by France, the United Kingdom, Italy and Spain although first in terms of rent per capita it is, as much of Europe as of the world, Luxembourg. It exists a great disparity in the economic wealth of the different European countries, thus, while in the five main economies the GIP surpasses the 20,000 Euros by person, Moldova as soon as it exceeds the 2.000. Good part of the economic dynamics of the continent is framed within the operation of the European Union. From 2009, sixteen European states share a same currency, the Euro (€). The new reality of the world-wide economy, that has consolidated in the course of the last decade, is in favor noticeable mainly of the disintegration of the Soviet Union, the vertiginous growth of the People's Republic of China and the materialization of the economic unit of good part of Europe. In the middle of these changes new poles for the world-wide economy have arisen that have impelled the call process of " Globalización". One of the particularitities of the European economy is the fact that several states of little territorial extension, without majors natural resources and owning coasts, count on prosperous economies and a high standard of life. So it is the case of Andorra, Luxembourg, Switzerland or Liechtenstein, as well as Monaco, although this last one owns coasts on the Mediterranean.

European population

The present European population is, in its immense majority, fenotípicamente caucasian, divided in two great groups: the Nordics, who usually have pigmentation of a clear and pink white skin, blond, reddish or brown hair clearly and the blue eyes, living mainly in Germany, Russia, the United Kingdom, France, North of Italy, Switzerland, Sweden, Ireland, Norway, Finland, Holland, parts of Spain, etc. and the Mediterranean ones that in their majority has the white skin with a slight flesh color (semi red cheeks) in the face, dark or brown hair the great majority with eyes coffee and in smaller amount brown, green, gray or blue, living in Spain, the south of Italy, the south of France, Portugal, Greece and the Balkan Mountains. But in the intermediate regions between these two groups, are many populations that present/display characteristics of both. The ethnic groups that, throughout the centuries, invaded the European continent, among them were several we emphasized to Germanic, vikingos, Latin or Roman, Etruscan, Greek, Slavic the íberos, celtas, etc. considered native soon of this continent, to which the migration is added from the Asian continent: Phoenicians, Arabs, Jews and gypsys among others. At present other types of immigrants exist, among them the Asians of the Far East and the originating ones of Africa and Latin America.
