Kenya is located in the east of Africa, in the coasts of the East Indian. It limits the north with Sudan and Ethiopia, the northeast with Somalia, the west with Uganda, the south with Tanzania and the east with the Indian Ocean. The total surface of Kenya is of 582,650 km ², and counts on 536 km of coast in the Indian Ocean. The climate is of tropical type in the barren coast and in the interior. Monte Kenya, that gives name to the country, is in center of the territory, to the north of Nairobi, and is the highest summit of the country and second of Africa, after the Kilimanjaro. This last one is also partially in Kenya, although its higher summit is in its totality in the territory of Tanzania.
