Generally, the ground of Poland little is lifted forming to a large extent by the Baltic Shield and the Sarmática Plain, the Carpathians Polish is divided in two great aligned blocks: the Eastern Beskides and the Western Beskides. The ethnic composition of Poland has varied remarkably throughout century XX. Until World War II, a 30% were formed by minority groups.
