
The culture of Sweden is perceived typically like egalitarian, simple and
abierta to influences of other countries. The country has received the cultural
influence of other countries and institutions: the Church Católica and Germany
during the Average Age, France during century XVIII, again Germany in century
XIX and the countries of the Angloesfera after World War II. Another outstanding
cultural aspect at international level is the delivery of the Nobel prize,
instituted by Alfred Nobel. This award has granted every year from 1901 to
people who have made investigations excellent, invented technical or
revolutionary equipment or remarkable contributions to the society. Sweden was
cradle of several writers recognized world-wide level including a August
Strindberg, Astrid Lindgren, and the winners of the Nobel prize Selma Lagerlöf
and Harry Martinson. Altogether de Literatura to Swedish writers have given
themselves to seven Nobel prizes. Between the met artists more of the country
are painters like Carl Larsson and Anders Zorn, and the sculptors Tobias Sergel
and Carl Milles.
