
Turkey is a unitary State that is divided administratively in 81 provinces, (to
iller, singular il) to the front of each one of as is a governor (vali)
designated by the central Government. The provinces are as well, divided in
districts (provincial demarcations or to ilçeler, singular ilçe) and communes
who can settle down taxes and exert other initiatives. The provincial capital
(called ilçe generally central) takes generally the name of the province, with
the following exceptions: Hatay (capital: Antakya), Kocaeli (capital: İzmit),
and Sakarya (capital: Adapazarı). On the other hand, geographically the divided

Ankara is the capital of Turkey, the region of Central
Anatolia and the homonymous province. According to the 2007 census it has a
population of 4.140.890 inhabitants, it turns what it into the second more
